Computers can be frustrating but often, spending a little time reading the instructions will eliminate frustration and save valuable time in the future. Often, after you learn how things work, a computer will streamline tasks and have you wondering how you ever did things without one. Our web-site is designed to enhance your experience with our salon. Our web-site can also save you time and money when interacting wth our salon.

We have identified typical problems that our clients experience when using our web-site. This page will identify and help you solve almost any problem you may be experiencing; however if it does not, don't be frustrated. We are here to help. If you are unable to solve a problem, use our contact form by clicking the contact button located just above. We are checking our e-mail most days late into the evening. We will usually respond quickly. You can also call us at the salon or ask us to show you using our computers at our salon the next time you visit.

Finally, and this part is critical for solving password problems quickly, once you are using your scheduler or web-site payments, please check your contact information and update changes.

Web-Site Account Help  
 E-mail addresses are the key to successes...
You accurate e-mail address is an important factor when using our web-site. Some clients experience difficulty because of the e-mail address that we have on file. If you have both a business e-mail address and a private e-mail address, please choose which one you use carefully. If you are using a business e-mail address, please check your company's policy and be certain that using your e-mail account with us does not violate your company policy. Some company e-mail servers will filter out personal e-mail as spam and you will never see it. Also consider that, if you are at home one evening trying to recover a lost password and we have your business e-mail address in our system that is where your password is going after you request it. If you are at work using a personal address the opposite is true. One solution is to use an e-mail address that you can access anywhere using a browser based e-mail client. If you are using an e-mail service that has a spam filter, please enter our e-mail address, drhair@drhair.com to your exclusion list or once again, you may not receive our replies.


 Do you already have an account?
If you do, it may be difficult to start a new one. We have already setup accounts for most of our existing clients in both the scheduler and the web-site payments. Finding out is simple either way. For scheduler, click the appointments button on the top of this page or the on-line scheduling picture on the right side of this page. Next, click the (Forgot your username AND password?). Enter your email address and your zip-code. Scheduler will e-mail this information directly to you. This will usually happen instantly; however, it may take a few minutes depending upon network conditions. For web-site payments, click the my account link on the top right of this page. Underneath the log-in spaces is a forgot password link. Click the link and enter your email address. Web-site payments will e-mail this information directly to you. This will usually happen instantly; however, it may take a few minutes depending upon network conditions.


 The password I am using for my appointment scheduling does not work when I try to pay for my hair, what am I doing wrong?
The appointment scheduler is separate from web-site payments. It has its own unique log-in. A (Username :) + a (Password :). When you first set-up your scheduler account, these are determined and set by you. For example, (Username = msmith for Mary Smith) + (Password = yourpassword.) At times, we create a scheduler account for first time clients. If this is the case, we try to set this up as simple as possible and then e-mail you this information. Web-site payments is slightly different in that you log in using your (E-mail Address :) + a (Password:). For example, (you@youraddress.com) + (your password).


 Here is what we suggest to simplify your Log-in's.
Open your scheduler account and update your e-mail address and contact information. Set a stronger password, this is a password that has (7 letters) and (3 numbers) For example, (feather727). Next, click my account link at the very top right of this page. Long-in to your web-site payments account, update your account information and reset this password to match the password in your scheduler account. (Caution) if you choose this option remember to set strong passwords.

 Is This Web-Site Secure?
Absolutely. Our web-site uses 128 bit, strong encryption to process your transaction. If you are using PayPal, DR.Hair has ben a PayPal Verified member in good standing for many years.


 What Credit Cards Does Your Web-Site Accept?

Our Web-Site uses AVS to authenticate users. Try these suggestions to fix the problem. 1.) Check your account profile. Make certain that all of your account information is accurate. It must match the statement billing address for the credit card that you are using. 2.) If you are using your business address for your account information, please refer to number (1). 3.) Take a second look at your card number and make certain you did not make any mistakes. 4.) You must enter the credit card ID number correctly. Please look at the digram on the check-out page for directions. 5.) For security purposes, our system may block your card after 3 attempts. If you suspect this is the problem, try another card or wait 24 hours to try again. If you are still having problems, use the contact form above or call us for assistance.


Salon Discount Policies - Coupons Codes - Gift Certificates  
 Does Your Salon Have Special Offers or Discounts?
Yes we do. For the most part, we use discounts and coupons to encourage economical practices by our clients. These days, our clients are watching their pennies and we are making every effort to operate efficiently. When we work together we can both realize a savings? Think of our web-site as a sort of high tech cash register. It helps us manage discounts and analyze their results and effectiveness. That is what you call the bottom line. You will need to do some exploring and meet certain conditions to obtain discounts. If you walk into our salon and ask for a discount, in most cases, certain conditions must be met. We may also ask you to consult our web-site for this information. Our web-site will know if you qualify using coupon codes or gift certificates in most cases. Please read on for more information.

Home page special offers will be posted daily on our home page. You can identify a home page special offer because it will show you a strike-through every-day price on that product and service and then a reduced price. These offers are only posted on our web-site home page. Everyone who pays over-the-counter or uses our web-site payments will receive that price. No action is necessary on your part. It will just happen. Once we change this offer, the discount goes away in our system. These offers may be good for (1 Day) - (1 Week) or (1 Month. These offers are only changed after the close of business and will never change during hours of operation.


 If I See A Home Page Special Offer Today And Use Web-Site Payments, Will I Be Asked To Pay More If The Special Ends Before I Arrive At Your Salon?
No, if you use web-site payments for a home page special offer today that expires tomorrow, next week or next month, our system will know that you have paid for the service and/or products and we will honor the transaction at no additional charge. If you pay over the counter after a home page special offer has expired, our system will not recognize the discount and you will be charged the normal rate.


 Coupon Codes...
Coupon Codes are codes that we send to our clients via e-mail. We may also print coupon codes on post cards or flyers that we direct mail or deliver to homes or offices. There are two ways to use a coupon code. You can simply enter the code during a web-site payment on our web-site or, tell us the code when you pay over the counter at our salon. Coupon codes come with expiration dates. Our system knows when the coupon code expires. If you do not use a coupon code prior to its expiration date our system will not recognize the discount and the no discount will be applied to your transaction. If you are planning to use your coupon code over the counter at our salon, you must know the code and tell us what the code is when you pay. Without the code, our system can not apply the discount.


 If I Use A Coupon Code Making A Web-Site Payment And That Code Expires Before I Visit Your Salon, Will I Be Asked To Pay More?
No, if you use a coupon code when making a web-site payment today and that code expires tomorrow, next week or next month, our system will know that you have paid for the service and/or products and we will honor the transaction at no additional charge.
